Our homemade Tilqhuillie Christmas Puddings are made to the famous local recipe, using naturally gluten-free oats from Alford and packed full of delicious dried fruits, spices and brandy.

REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Tilquhillie Pudding

1 PINT (454g) PUDDING

To Steam:

  1. Remove film and replace lid. Steam for 45 minutes

  2. Remove pudding carefully, remove lid and invert onto a plate.

  3. Gently remove basin. Ensure pudding is piping hot throughout before serving.

To Microwave

  1. Remove film and lid. Place onto microwaveable plate. Instructions below are a guide and depend on the power of your microwave.

  2. Microwave on medium high for 3 minutes. Rest for 2 minutes.

  3. Remove pudding carefully and invert onto serving dish. Gently remove basin. Ensure pudding is piping hot throughout before serving.

2 PINT (454g) PUDDING

To Steam:

  1. Remove film and replace lid. Steam for 1.5 hours for 2 pint (950g) puddings.

  2. Remove pudding carefully, remove lid and invert onto a plate.

  3. Gently remove basin. Ensure pudding is piping hot throughout before serving.

To Microwave

  1. Remove film and lid. Place onto microwaveable plate. Instructions below are a guide and depend on the power of your microwave.

  2. Microwave on medium high for 3 minutes. Rest for 2 minutes. Microwave on medium high for a further 3 minutes. Rest for 2 minutes.

  3. Remove pudding carefully and invert onto serving dish. Gently remove basin. Ensure pudding is piping hot throughout before serving.
