A Weekend of Music at Finzean House for the Aboyne & Deeside Festival 2026

As part of the Aboyne & Deeside Festival 2026, Finzean is set to enjoy a wonderful weekend of live music, with two outstanding performances taking place on Friday evening at Finzean House and Saturday afternoon at Birse & Feughside Church.
The highlight for Finzean is the return of Showtime to Finzean House on Friday evening. Following two sell-out performances here in 2025, Finlay Stripling returns, this time joined by Coast Kinloch, for an evening celebrating the very best of musical theatre.
Both Finlay and Coast are currently studying at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Finlay is specialising in Classical Musical Performance, while Coast is studying Musical Theatre. Together, they promise an unforgettable evening showcasing remarkable talent in the beautiful surroundings of Finzean House.
The first Showtime performance of the festival sold out quickly, but tickets are still available for the additional Friday evening performance. Guests will also enjoy drinks and canapés during the interval, making it a truly special night in one of Royal Deeside's most elegant venues.
The musical celebrations continue on Saturday afternoon at Birse & Feughside Church with Sopranaria. Festival favourites Moira Docherty (soprano), Barbara Scott (mezzo soprano) and Robert Duncan (piano) return to perform a selection of their much-loved musical favourites in what promises to be another memorable concert.
The Aboyne & Deeside Festival brings an exceptional programme of music, arts and culture to Royal Deeside each summer, and Finzean House is proud to once again be one of its venues, welcoming visitors to experience outstanding performances in a unique historic setting.
Tickets for both events are available through the Aboyne & Deeside Festival website. Showtime at Finzean House is £20 per person, including drinks and canapés during the interval, while tickets for Sopranaria are £15.
